We are building a bank of video case studies highlighting the training and work of technicians from a variety of sectors. The short videos illustrate the varied roles of a technician and their importance to the science, engineering and technology sectors.

We will be adding videos to the collection over the coming months and are looking for volunteers to be filmed.  Please do get in touch if you have any suggestions for individual technicians or organisations that would make interesting case studies.

The first three case studies were filmed at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory and the ISIS neutron source, both publically-funded laboratories operated by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC).  The films illustrate the training of technicians, the work of technicians and the value of technicians.
