The Annual Review provides an update of Gatsby’s progress in its six main areas of support; plant science research, neuroscience research, science and engineering education, economic development in Africa, public policy research, and the Arts.

The Education team's support of the UK’s technicians, science in schools and educational national initiatives continues apace, whilst the other areas of Gatsby’s work have also enjoyed significant success and progress. Highlights include Gatsby’s most ambitious project to date, a £100 million partnership with the Wellcome Trust to establish the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre for Neural Circuits and Behaviour and our contribution to the reinstatement of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s iconic studio theatre, The Other Place, in Stratford-upon-Avon.
