We collaborate with like-minded organisations to enhance our outreach. Strategic partnerships range from supporting capital projects to funding meetings and symposia as well as building the capacity of organisations representing neuroscience interests.
Our largest collaboration is with the Wellcome Trust to build the Sainsbury-Wellcome Centre for Neural Circuits and Behaviour at University College London. Another long term project is a partnership with the Kavli Foundation to fund the Society for Neuroscience’s BrainFacts.org, which aims to be the ultimate online resource for public information about neuroscience.
We have also helped to build the capacity of the British Neuroscience Association to represent the interests of the UK’s neuroscience community.
In addition, we partner with many organisations to fund meetings, courses and symposia across the world.
Projects
The public lack an online source of authoritative information about the progress and promise of brain research. To address this, we are partnering with the Kavli Foundation to support the Society for Neuroscience to create and maintain BrainFacts.org.
In addition to our core programmes and centres we invest strategically in aspects of neuroscience that support and complement our core vision. We fund meetings and symposia, and build the capacity of organisations representing neuroscience interests.
