The latest in a series of Occasional Papers, this Paper looks back over a 15-year period since the Gatsby Charitable Foundation began its support to expand the Institute for Manufacturing's Advanced Course in Design, Manufacture and Management. Over the intervening years, the IfM has worked with Gatsby in helping to raise the profile of modern manufacturing and, in particular, to develop new approaches to dialogue between universities and industry.
