Conditions for use of logo

  1. Non-exclusive permission will be granted to beneficiaries and other approved bodies (the Users) of the Gatsby Charitable Foundation (Gatsby) to download the logo for use on:
    1. appropriate literature in order to refer to grant support received from Gatsby; and
    2. on an approved website to link back to the www.gatsby.org.uk home page.
  2. Copyright in the Gatsby logo belongs to Gatsby. Permission will be granted by Gatsby for the download and use of the logo by the transmission to the User, via e-mail, of a user name and password. Such permission will be subject to these Conditions.
  3. Gatsby may impose specific restrictions, conditions or limitations on the use of the logo (specific conditions), which will be notified to the User via e-mail together with the user name and password. Where and to the extent that the specific conditions conflict with these Conditions, the specific conditions shall apply.
  4. The logo may only be used in the manner and for the purposes specified in the application form submitted to Gatsby as limited by any specific conditions.
  5. This permission is personal to the User and may not be assigned or sub-licensed.
  6. The User shall keep their user name and password confidential and shall not pass it on to any third party.
  7. Permission shall be granted for a period such as may have been notified by Gatsby as a specific condition, unless terminated earlier in accordance with paragraph 8 below.
  8. Termination by Gatsby:
    1. Gatsby may terminate this permission at any time by notice in writing sent by e-mail or post to the address given in the application form or such other address as the User has notified to Gatsby.
    2. Where the permission is terminated as a result of the User's breach of these Conditions or any specific conditions, or as a result of the User ceasing to be a beneficiary or other approved body, it shall take effect immediately and the logo shall be removed from any website and stocks of materials bearing the logo shall immediately be withdrawn from distribution, at the expense of the User. By agreeing to these Conditions the User acknowledges that this is reasonable in order to safeguard Gatsby's rights in the logo.
    3. Where the permission is terminated for any other reason, Gatsby shall give the User a period of three calendar months notice at the end of which is the User shall cease all use of the logo.
  9. These Conditions may not be amended or modified by or on behalf of Gatsby unless in writing.
