Summary of Mental Health programmes

The focus of the Trustees’ support is the Sainsbury Centre for Mental Health (SCMH). SCMH is an independent charity affiliated to King’s College London with its own trustees. SCMH trustees are advised by Baroness Julia Neuberger DBE and Lord Ramsbotham.

Sainsbury Centre for Mental Health

SCMH has been at the forefront of innovation and reform in mental health policy and practice since it was founded in 1985. In 2006, SCMH decided to focus its work on two much-neglected areas: the mental health of people in contact with the criminal justice system, and mental health and work.

The Trustees are advised on mental health by Professor Howard Goldman, University of Maryland, USA.
