We are supporting Horizon East Africa – a new research project dedicated to exploring the trends set to shape the future in the region.
East Africa is facing a wide array of development challenges that all of us who operate in the region will have to navigate.
Horizon is developing forward-looking research reports to contribute to the conversation about East Africa’s future. The aim is to help governments, donors, firms and citizens to better mitigate risks and more firmly grasp the opportunities to come.
Horizon brings together global, regional and country-level data and research that is complemented by our own targeted intelligence-gathering from our networks in East Africa.
Horizon’s first report is out now. It explores regional-level trends within East Africa's fast-changing trade, finance, environment, technology, work, social, and political landscapes. Click through the carousel below to learn more:
We hope to spark dialogue through it and are eager to discuss the findings with others. You can connect with the Horizon project @Horizon_EA.
We also welcome collaboration on future projects – the next Horizon report will focus on trends in Kenya.
