Gatsby funding has created a network of excellence in plant science that has been highly successful in maintaining a high profile for plant science research in the UK.
The Network consists of current Sainsbury undergraduates, current Sainsbury PhD students and their supervisors, alumni of these schemes as well as all the Gatsby mentors from UK universities with teaching and research interests in plant science.
The Network meets annually in September in Oxford for presentations, talks and discussions, and provides an important forum for undergraduate and graduate students to meet influential members of the UK plant science community.
