Sir John Holman introduces the Gatsby Career Benchmarks to educational institutions in Spain

Last week Sir John Holman, senior adviser to the Gatsby Foundation, presented the eight Gatsby Career Benchmarks to fifty educational institutions in Madrid. He was hosted by the Fundacion Bertelsmann, a charitable foundation advocating for the adoption of the Benchmarks into the Spanish education system.

The presentation was the culmination of a three-day visit to Spain by Sir John Holman and Gatsby’s director of technical education programmes, Jenifer Burden. They visited educational centres and companies who are part of the Alliance for Dual Vocational Education, an initiative championed by the Fundación, aiming to create a national network of institutions committed to developing high-quality dual vocational education in Spain.
